Title: ro suddenly not producing much.

Has anyone got any ideas why my 300GPD pumped ro system that I have only had for 6 months started to produce very little water? I have regularly backflushed the membranes and have changed the pre filters. Does it mean the membranes are no good now.

Any help appreciated.

If youve done what you say your membranes should be fine. There has to be another reason for it. You havent let it freeze up recently have you?

Sounds like your new pre-filters have a blockage. Take one out at a time and see what happens to the flow rate, when you have identified which one it is flush it out to see if it clears or just replace with a new one.
