Hi Fellas
Does anyone else give out a small sheet with anticipated cleaning dates to there customers at the start of the year?
Any chance I could get a look at someones as I'm trying to improve my own at the moment.
Also I have been thinking of putting quotes for add on jobs underneath these dates to push these more for exaple.
Dear Customer
Your details for window cleaning for 2014:
£....... 4 / 8 Weekly
Anticipated Cleaning Dates
8th jan
3 feb
.... ETC
Then underneath
Fascia Board Clean ...........
Gutter Clear ......
Conservatory Roof Clean....
Anyone else do this? Thoughts?
Thanks, Tom

mine changes from month to month though when it heavy rains or illness etc, so probly wouldn't work.
I find it much easier just taking everyones numbers and texting the night before, yes sometimes that gives the messers an easy way out and to ''leave the gat locked by accident'' but over time you get rid of these

Yeah I know what you mean, I say underneath all dates are approximate and may be late due to severe weather/holiday etc.
I do text some the night before still as well as those dates are approximate. Just find that especially the older generations like to know when your due. Just planning on using that as another way of keeping the add on services in there mind and push those more.

Might be an idea to state week beginning 4/12/2012 rather than the actual date so that your customers aren't confused/disappointed when you don't show on the planned date.

When I take on a customer I tell them the work will be done approximately per calendar month. Obviously a calendar month is slightly longer than 4 weeks, so if the 24th happens to fall at the weekend, the work will be done on either the Friday or the Monday, depending on what works best for me (and the weather!). This gives me a fair bit of flexibility for things like bad weather, but it also means that if I want a holiday, I can jiggle things around to make a gap in my round. Last year I was on holiday for 9 days, but didn't miss any work!.

I use a google calender which links to a scheduler on my website only customers can view it as they have a password. I can adjust as I go along from my iphone but it gives a general idea of when I am coming next.
