Title: Knock Knock, your window cleaner has packed in !!

Thats what happened in an area where i clean, ... the guys were trying to canvass saying they are taking over as the local window cleaner has jacked.!!

Nice way to do business guys, in the Leeds area.

It normally stems from some confusion and jumping to conclusions.

Maybe a local window cleaner has dropped an area or a street, or a clutch of houses; another window cleaner hears about it and somehow thinks that the window cleaner who used to clean these has stopped window cleaning altogether - and without checking it out properly - goes canvassing.

Happened to a local window cleaner around here about 10 years ago.  It's an easy mistake to make if the canvassing window cleaner is stupid.

 folk who try to pull that stunt are reptiles - target their work if you can

 go in low on price if necessary to drive them out ,especially easy if you have employees

One of my customers told me yesterday, that two other window cleaners started cleaning her Windows the other week.
She came out and said your not my window cleaners? And they just cleared off without a word. Obviously just trying it on.

Im yet to find out who they are, its what the customer told me, asked for numbers off leaflet etc... but either they did not accept a leaflet or they threw them...

anyway lost no customers to them.
