Title: Best distance measuring tool?

Hello,

I'm not looking to spend a lot of money, but i do want something that is accurate and reliable enough to be kept in a work van and work without hassle.

any recommendations welcome.  thanks

i was thinking measuring wheel myself.  have you got a link for a workhorse one?

I just use a 30m tape measure lol.
