Got a large job in Inverness and the vehicle I have to take can not produce pure so am looking for someone to help supply water in the next week or so.
Alternatively I could take a DI and just use that, anyone know what the TDS is in Inverness area?
-
i would pump it out of the nearest stream the water must be absolutely pure up there
good luck

Inverness is very low Neil.
Take a DI if you can, you'll be fine.
-
di should be fine for inverness, I don't know any window cleaners there but I have a few mates live there if you need access to a outside tap, although that should not be a problem anyway
-
1000 mile round trip Neil, that must be a lovely job!
-
Last time I was in Lairg I took my TDS meter and it was coming out the tap at 45 ! Just DI it quickly or borrow out of a stream.

Thanks lads, I am going with a DI but if anyone from the Inverness area wants a very nice contract when we have finished give me a shout and I will give you the details.
Darren, yes it is well worth a 1000 mile round trip. ;) The job will take about 10 of us a week to complete.
Its the 3rd one we have done. I recruit most of the staff from the local area and take myself and 2 supervisors to control things.
150 of these jobs are planned in the next few years so plenty to go at :)

Not seen anyone from Inverness on here. I am about 90 miles from Inverness, my TDS is 46 - not sure if that is even relevant - can't imagine it would be vastly different from here.

Hope you are charging enough!
10 boys 1000 miles cant be cheap, plus the £2000+ in licences (https://www.gov.uk/window-cleaners-licence-scotland/highland) alone! :o
