Had a nother large property, change from once a month to every two months.
I have been wfp for two years and off ladders for twenty odd.
I never got the cancellations. And less frequent cleans when off ladders, how is everyone else getting on, I think wc Will soon become a very infrequent job.
Sorry for the gloomy post.

I think windows stay cleaner longer with WFP, only my opinion.

ive heard this mentioned a few times!!! but is there any logical reason why they would stay cleaner for longer, surely dirt and dust will eventually build up over time as they would on any window regardless of whether they were cleaned trad or WFP.......
Im not into creating a war of words between tradders and Wfp but just wondering about this ... :)

It's down to there being no soap residue left on the glass

60% of my round is 2 monthly, it doesn't bother me at all , i'd rather have happy customers that look pleased to see me than ones that look at me like 'oh no, not him again', which I used to get a lot of when I only offered a 4 weekly clean.
-
6-8 weeks for me, i dont do 4wkly
-
4and 6 weekly and don't have any probs
my regulars want the windows kept clean(maintained) at reasonable
cost at resonable intervals so most of mine are 4 or 6 weekly
I did the real cleaning on the first clean, all the other cleans
are about keeping the windows to a certain standard as much as
reasonably possible.
if anyone wants more infrequent cleans they will pay more for the privilege
-
All my larger stuff - just about - is two-or-three monthly intervals. It takes longer to build, but we've built, and they're more than happy to see us, rather than a 'you again already?'.
I normally give them the choice and explain I charge a little more for every-other-month; and they tend to go for it.
-
When cleaning by hand you leave soap behind and the dirt sticks to that
-
I don't do bi-monthly, I have had the odd customer ask, but I just tell them sorry, monthly only. If lots start asking I might change that, but for the moment, I will just stick to my guns!. Don't do much commercial stuff mind.
-
We love bi-monthly I'd have all mine that way, we charge between 25 and 35 % more for eight weekly cleans 8)

is it a regional thing?

Yeah, that and cleaner frames. Dirty frames run down to make dirty windows.
I think I read that washing up liquid contains something that makes dishes shine. It's this that creates the residue on windows that dirt sticks to, more.

I would say there are definately regional differences as it appears from what ive gleaned off here,
fortnightly cleaning of domestic properties was not uncommon up north? trad anyway..
There is a question.. Anyone who used to trad domestic fortnightly now wfp them and still do it 2 wkly?
