yes its a good bit of kit for large carpets but most of my work is domestic.

used my rotovac several times since bying it off John Flynn

Why the hell do you wan t to sell it???

keep it, use it on really Crappy carpets ( when you do come across them)

get fantastic results and jobs from referalls ( like i have)

save your back  and BLOODY KEEP IT


well a least thats what i'd do

P.s  it will get you much more than a grand in the long run plus you'll still own it
