Hi
Does anyone know anything about the V series controllers. our has a pressure warning and no longer useable. If any one has had the same problem please could they feedback any input they may have.
-
Why is the pressure warning not working? Are you sure it's not your pressure switch

Have you calibrated it?
-
Yes Mate I have tried that several times. Still says press "pressure"
On the screen and pump not kicking in. Seems there might be air
In system?
-
Had it once, and sure it was just calibration that sorted it.
Silly question, but have you set it lower and higher?
-
Lee you are the expert on gas boilers not controllers. Or was it controller aswell.

Yes Tried Both but still says press ( meaning Pressure switch activated)

Think that's why it says Press in display mate. Meaning pressure switch has activated, problem is how to reset it so to speak !

I had a problem with a controller that was stuck on PS and the controller was broken so I had to replace it
You can use the controller without the pressure switch connected. Try disconnecting it and running the pump straight to the controller and see if the PS error

Sounds like the controller is dead. Mine went like that after I connected the wires the wrong way round.

It may be that the pressure switch on the pump has activated and stuck in the off position. It is worth quickly giving the pressure switch a light tap with a hammer to see if it loosens it.
If that makes no difference then take the pressure switch out of circuit by connecting the two pressure switch wires together - see if this makes the system work again.
