Hi people, i have an immersion heater fitted at the moment but am looking to have
instant hot water, does anyone have the corwood heater or reach 2 clean flaming hot heater fitted?
just wondering about any reviews of LPG heaters or how people have them fitted and any pics? Also has anyone with a hot water system told there insurance about the gas bottle? just thinking about any complications with that.
I presume i can just mount it on one of my back doors and have the exhaust vent going straight out the van?

Yup-I've got the Corwoods one.
You won't need pictures to set it up-it couldn't be simpler!
Cut the hose between pump and reel, put a hoselock connector on each end, connect to boiler.
Screw gas regulator on.
Put batteries in.
Switch on, that's it!
Everything you'll need (except the batteries) comes in the box.
Mine is mounted on the drivers side wall right at the back if the van. Not on the door.
It still exhausts out the door fine.
Yes, definitely tell your insurance. It could be invalidated if not.
Mine didn't cost any more.
They said (Aplan) it's getting more common now for people to carry gas, they don't load the premium-they just want to know.

thats good i presumed the hot exhaust would burn my van or at least the ply lining, would be good if i could mount it on the side wall, thats made my mind up i think then, can't beat nice and simple,
so if you have it turned on, when you open your tap and the pump starts up, the boiler just fires up?
like a combi boiler i supose.

No, nothing else changed. There is a flow controller on the boiler but I set it to max and use controller as I did before.

Are they selling it themselves? Perhaps that's why they've told you that you need it.
In my experience you won't need to change it.

Hi mate sounds like a plan thank you. sorry for the daft ques but its so much easier when sombody does own one rather than asking the seller who just wants to sell anothe unit.
