Title: agency staff
Post by: handyali on March 06, 2006, 03:56:49 pm
have a contract in the pipeline to do student communal cleans. each property (approx 100 )will be cleaned on a monthly basis. now our client does not want to pay what we quoted and looking back i think the quote given was high.
however he does not want to pay more than £7 an hour for a cleaner. obviously that is very low and we cant do it for that.
just to pick your brains - what do agencies tend to charge? i will ring our local agencies but really there arent any that deal with cleaners.
grateful for any comments . thanks  ::)

I would imagine an agency will pay their cleaners £6-7 per hour +13% ENIC + Holiday pay.  You will not get much change from£8.00 per hour then you add the agency fee of at least £1.00 - £1.50 = Approximatley £9.50 - £101 per hour

Of the £8.50/£9.50/£10.50, how much goes to the individual cleaner ?
