Title: Gardiners backpack
Post by: trippyboy on September 10, 2013, 10:38:10 pm
Thinking of getting a 2nd backpack because in fed up of flushing mine through with pure after ive used it with virosol.
Been on the gardiners site and looked at their backpacks which are very inexpensive.
Anyone own one? If so care to give me the rundown on it.
Cheers

Does anyone really ever put one of these things on their back !!!!  even the council workers spraying the

pavements with weed killer, wear a little containers on backs now, but as said, don't use as a (BACK) pack.

gardiners b/p are good for the price, if abit LOUD,  and the battery is smaller than some other b/s , so you will

have to charge more regular,  jp

I have the wcw/John Hewitt backpack, and I have never used it on my back.
The Gardiners one seems to a great little backpack for the money, however ive been reading up on how the lid comes off frequently,no good for me as I carry mine albit only for a few jobs.
Think I will buy another John Hewitt one

the newer gardner backpacks are a lot better on flow rates because it has a 2 way switch which slows the pump down alot

I am pleased for you.
The lid on mine has failed and detached itself 4 times so far without warning.
Wtf do you think I'm doing with it ? I fill it with water and screw the lid on.
I may be a window cleaner but even I can get my head round that one. :D ;)

I would not recommend this backpack to anyone planning to carry it by the handle.
Yes I do now carry it on a sack truck, but had I have thought a little more on how I was going to use it  I would have bought similar to my old wcw one which was so easy to carry without the added expense or faffing about with a trolley (no good when you have to go downstairs through terrace houses )

still far to fast even on lowest setting.

why does the gardeners b/p pump keep cycling when you turn off the tap on the pole.?
takes about 20 seconds for it to stop. my other b/p stops right away. ???
