Year's of frustration with rectus 21 and 26, then those new plastic thing's doing the round from ebay and A/D have me going bald. No leak's, just always springing apart many many times a week.
Few week's ago someone posted a link to what looked like quality twist and snap coupling's. I foolishly ignored the post and purchased some more crap plasticy coupling's, they have now split into 3.
Anyone know of a trully professional hose coupling?
PLEASE.

Oh gawd I've recently taken delivery of some of those plastic medical adaptors to try out as I was noticing the Ez-Snap connectors don't seem to be lasting as long. ::)roll
My back up plan if these one's turn out to be poop is to use something like this: http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/inline-bore-adapters.html
And just directly connect the main hose to the pole hose with a couple of jubilee clips either end.
I use a valve at the brush head to turn flow on/off.

I have just weeks started to use the acetate ( tuff hardwearing plastic) they are really the answer light and never come loose. They are made for vacuum and pneumatic tools.I got them from a company call ed Tom Parker They are in Preston and also in Basingstoke. They do mail order and are part of the CPC ranges < you will need female valved fitting for you hose and straight mile part for your pole. Do some googling and dont settle for anything second best e.g. Retus21 ,26 and 19.

They look just like the others. Sure they don't come apart? This is my problem.

I've had the same problem and it's driven me nuts (and cost me time) and this now works for me:
1. Fit an Aqua-dapta to your pole. Whether you think they are good or bad, I have this for one purpose only; it manages my hose better! I'm not interested in turning the water on and off cause my tap used to do that. But the curl of extra hose used to bug me. Also, it means your connector is further away from you so you don't accidentally tread on it.
2. Fit a small protector ball to the end of your pole hose (not a large one, it gets caught on everything).
3. Stop the protector ball slipping up the pole hose using electrical tape curled round about 10 times (not an 'O' hose fitting it gets caught on everything).
I currently use the EZ Snap fittings from Gardiners and haven't had single break since using this setup. But I do actually prefer the plastic ones from AD, they are lighter and I find they last longer. They are also in stock now too.
That's me sorted ;D

rectus 21 for me.they usually last 3 or 4 months.when they start to jam i give them a little spray of WD40.a few times a week they unconnect themselves but not too irritating.
i was gonna try some of the plastic connectors from AD but judging by the above post i think ill give them a miss!
