hi Ben spray one pad with pure so it's slightly damp and scrub, then buff off with a dry pad, they're not good for first cleans but ok for maintenence

If the window is really filthy, maybe worth getting a lightly damp applicator and scrubbing the window down first. Then quickly using the vikan mop head to clean the window before it dries.
Vikan indoor kits really hold thier own on maintenance cleans as opposed to one offs

I don't bother with pure on these anymore
If its a first clean you will need to clean the window twice to have any hope at all of getting a good result.
First cleans : soak the pad (but not dripping wet) with white vinegar scrub window thoroughly remove pad a replace with clean dry pad and re clean. This will give you about a 90% chance of a decent result but check after 10 mins on in bright sunlight
If not perfect or its a regular clean use a clean pad and dampen it with white vinegar and clean so far this has given 100% good results

If its a property with smokers it wont be any use.

I use them every day.
First clean, do it traditionally, scrub with applicator hard.
Second clean, i don't bother with pure water, i use Mr Muscle window cleaner, (into my own trigger bottle) and spray a minimal amount onto the glass, then work it in.
It will pick up dust, so always make sure when you're cleaning to treat it like a squeegee, collecting the dust as you go along before finishing at the bottom of the pane.
The key thing is to use the least amount of Mr Muscle or pure water as possible. If you have too much on the glass, you're screwed.

The problem I've found when using then is the pad picking up dust and other c**p from the lower glazing bars and pulling it across the glass. If I think the frame is very dirty I run a vacuum cleaner over it first.

Hi Ben, use a damp little waffle glass cloth as it will stick onto the velcro strips of your Vikan mop frame after you have cleaned the surface take off the damp one and stick on a dry little waffle cloth to polish off for a streak free finish, we sell many microfiber glass mop pads but most of our clients find microfiber little waffle cloths far more effective as it does not matter if its sunny you will still get a streak free finish when you polish off with the dry little waffle cloth
