I've notice in the Yellow pages thst s lot of wc's advertise free quotations.

I would have thought that that's what people expected, is it important to mention on flyers or adverts?

I think that may relate to the customer that rings up rather than seeing you out in the street, and where you have to go out to quote the job.
We have 'Free Quotations' in out Yellow Pages add.
Talking of which it has brought us in a load of work already, and its only been out about 4 weeks.

I'm based in Worcester, so we are in Midlands South. There's quite a few others also in the book but fortunatly most of the others are advertising for commercial work. So we are cleaning up... so to speak.
