Seems that the Artic sea ice is at the biggest its ever been with scientists now saying we are entering a period of cooling. Looks like this global warming was just a load of b******s but one which has cost us billions in increased taxes etc.

Even the BBC have had to admit there has been no warming for the last 17 years;

What annoys me is those pictures of Polar bears on a small piece of ice, ha, that's the environment in which they live, it's not the last piece of ice, they then get off and swim to another piece, it's their hunting ground, and Polar bear numbers are up!

They'll be a political reason underneath all of this, nothing to do with the rain forests being cut away but south Americas economy would then fail so are we keeping that afloat?

They must have been pssing themselves laughing when they came up with the 'Green' tax idea. Oh, well if its for the environment I don't mind paying more.
The 'facts' in Al Gore's famous Keynote on global warming has since been discredited and he travels around the world delivering it in a private executive jet. One rule for us another for them.
I'm just as cynical as they are mind, by putting a splash of green on my logo and liberally using the word ECO throughout my marketing. I chuckle when I see others doing it and they've had some nice long haul holidays off the back of it. ;D

Recycling and using ecologically friendly products is a world away from the global warming issue. We are running out of resources so it makes sense recycling materials. Using eco chemicals (provided they are truly) does help stop polluting the planet.
Global warming, in my view was furthered by people with interests away from fossil fuels.
People who disagreed with it were sidelined. David Bellamy for one has been ostrocised by his peers but to me he was the sensible one.

Global warming or not, we should look after the planet we live on, which at a guest I'd say 90% of the people on it don't do!
-
In the UK we were doing a pretty good job of looking after our land and surrounding waters, but the euro politicians have wrecked our farming and fishing in recent years.
-
We're always fed a load of BS by the media - I'm getting cynical in my old age:
Eggs were bad for you - now they're not.
Butter was bad for you - now it's not...
Meat/vegetables/living - bad/not bad
Latest today - going on a diet's bad for you - better off staying overweight than yo-yo'ing your weight.
I give up...
...pass the biscuits/beer/fAgs

In the UK we were doing a pretty good job of looking after our land and surrounding waters,
Well apart from all the fracking that will probably happen >:(

What is it they say?
YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP. ;D
Isn't the Tory logo a green tree?

I always knew global warming was a load of bo**ocks. The earth goes through cycles of climate of 30 000 years and minor cycles of 11 years due to the sun.
My doc asks if I am eating spread- yes, I reply butter spread, (it has 30% veg oil) I will not eat the chemical gunk called margarine. I make my own bread, cheating as I use a bread maker but at least I know what is in it. Commercial bread is the only food that does not have to list exactly what is in it, and supermarket bread is complete rubbish, being flour paste artificially expanded into something called "bread"
If you buy skimmed milk at 1% you may as well drink water as all the vitamins and other good things have been removed with the fat. Full milk is only 4% as it is.
Rant over for the time being....
As for fracking .. they have no problems in the US and their power costs have dropped by 30% over the last 3 years.
I could go on but thats enough for now.

Apart from the gas coming out of peoples taps and the polluted water, people with bore holes not being able to use the water that comes out of them.
There is a growing body of evidence from the USA, where the unconventional gas industry is far more developed, that there are inherent and unacceptably high environmental and health risks associated with coalbed methane and shale gas extraction.
