This is what happens when women chat!

We should all get our other halves to post that they pay £100PCM and its a bargain.

The more important question is why are you poking around on a mums site?!!!  ;D

You know you're of a certain age when you stop fancying the girls and start looking at the Mums.
Is that his avatar( ;D) or a photo-look at him, bet he's got a love rug to die for and a big medallion in the middle.
Drives a Jaaaaaag, smokes Hamlets and holidays in (phonetic) Mar Bell A.

I would suggest the posters on there who feel they are being ripped off stop using Bumper as their window cleaner! ;D

this one is great:

28ish windows, three sets of french doors. Just gone up to £40 a month! We had a lovely bloke do it for £15, but he got fed up with how long it was taking. We're on the coast, so the windows get really salty, and the upstairs is really high.

why do you think he got fed up for you dumb cow!!?? lol

Leave mumsnet alone.  They're quite a dangerous bunch over there.  Serious; they don't mess about.

I do like the one about guy who charges extra if the windows are dirty
in other words you only pay half if he doesn't have to clean them.
Sounds like a bargain. ;D

the surprising thing for me was the prices actually reflect what we talk about on this site, imo
but the other part that worried me was most thought they were getting ripped off and also a few comments about the pole system, it showed they were or had not been educated by the cleaner

Studies have shown that the number of posts a Mumsnet member makes are inversely proportional to the posters IQ...

These are individuals without the power of rational thought - and now they have a forum to advertise the fact !

I charge too low in london from all those mummys chatting about there windows £25-£50  :o
Maybe time for a price increase  ;D.
It does open your eyes to how customers feel about paying what they do. Stuff living in scotland and being a wc though Seems all the scots charge pennies compared to everywhere else with many £3/£4.50 houses about. £8-£12 seemed the average the mums were paying which isnt to shabby overall.

I like that! I must do a search to read how they feel about the plumber's charges?

A customer had a blocked drain on Friday and they called a drain cleaner out and jetted the drain - 10 minutes £120.00 with £30 call out fee in the North East. Yes he had an on board petrol driven pressure washer with lance. He was using Hozelok plastic reels and garden hose to feed the lance - I noticed that but so did the customer.

There were 2 of them. The appearance of his van was much to be desired - full of rust.

I have maybe 10 customers under £5. Don't believe everything you read.

I doubt there are sufficient collective brain cells to understand what we are talking about.
