Hi,
Was thinking of getting a gutter vac would appreciate any advice
what make, power, best value one to get, which one not to get.
Are they worth it?

My guttervac was no good to man nor beast this week. The gutter was so tight to the tiles I couldn't even get my fingers in. I abandoned the job in the end and gave them a business card of a Gutter Specialist in my area. I didn't fancy unclipping all the sections to empty them out.
I use a Nilfisk most of the time by the way.

I have made a new thing for my gutter vac for when there is no space for the pole to go into the gutter due to the tiles on the roof hanging over into the gutter.. This gadget feeds in from the corners and runs from one corner to the next. I have to remove the end caps. But I can clean gutters even when I dont have ground access.
Also made a pole tap that will fit on the top of your pole. Extremely light but works a charm. So you open the tap just before you extend the pole and close when its comes down. Will be selling them and they wont cost an arm an a leg. I have made a double one to use two sets fo jets on one brush. I have them on the 16" extreame brush the inside are fan jets and the outter jet anre pencil for better control splashing on walls. e.g. Fans7 pencil on the some brush .so i can change a will
