Title: view the 12v car pump trolley
Post by: jouk45 on March 05, 2006, 06:02:24 pm
hi folks, this is my trolley system that i have build from 12v car washer pumps. Now i am not saying that it can work at heights of 60ft or anything,my pole does not reach that far. What i can tell you so far at 25ft its very powerfull and has not lost any power.this trolly system costs only £100 no more than that. Very good value for domestic work at least.
view the trolley system here. http://www.yourfilelink.com/get.php?fid=40425

gaz, it is very powerfull.it runs with twin pumps and twin tubing.they run independent from each other and both powered at the same time. there is no T connection at the brush head, they run independanly from each other straight to each spray nozzle.

Jouk

Great video
Those jets seem to be blasting the water out really well.
Are those fan jets you have in the brush as mine dont spray out like that.

One question why do you rinse the glass first.

Very good Jouk , i like it , how long have you had the motors running for in a days work , i just get the feeling that they would burn out real quick ?
And the jets you use , what is the flow rate of them , in LPM ?

Hi  P @ F, Iwill try the flow rate in a bucket and mesure it after 1 minute and let you know. The pumps just keep going with no reduction in water volume.i have worked them all day with no sign of them burning out. These type of pumps have air intake breathers, when the pump is turning it circulates the air inside the motor to keep it cool like a fan so to speak.
