Changed the RO Membrane last week as the TDS in the tank was coming out above above 50.
New Membrane in place, a good few pound lighter in the pocket, but the TDS is still 40+.
Tap water hovers around the 250 mark.
What have I got to do to get this down to around 20, which is what I'd hoped I'd easily achieve with the new membrane.

are you using a booster pump?
what is your tap pressure?
what is the water flow from your tap per min?
what membrane did you buy?
what ro do you have?

No
Never been a problem, good and strong although I haven't gauged it
Around 8 - 10 litres

Did you flush it first for a few hours? I think it needs this first.

First hour or so.
Still not great, in at 40.
Will take apart a bit later and reassemble but red0 the silicon grease on the seals.
Failing that it's a swap I think.
