Title: WFP set up advice

Hi, been doing trad for over 4 years now but now looking to get a WFP set up.
I'll only be looking to use it for no more than 10 hours a week (for now), am just after some advice on tank size? DI or RO? I'm looking for a system i can run from my van and to just add water. Any tips would be appreciated, thanks.
I've had a look at the FAQ page but couldn't find the exact answers I was looking for.

I'd get a backpack system for that amount of time you were going to use it, window cleaning warehouse do I good starter pack it's about £500 but comes with everything you need to go wfp to start with buddy

Gardiners backpack about £100
clx 27 gardiners about £160
ro from vyair good one about £200
Di canister and resin and tds meter from £30 upwards
Some water bottles £5 each
1xIbc tank for in your garage/garden £20 upwards.
Around £500 and your in business!

The first step is to find out what the tds of your tap water is, and once you find out it will be easier to advise what equipment you will need.

I would be tempted to do everything windie washer said, except i would fit a tank in your van(if you hav one)
I couldnt think of anything worse than backpacks and trolly systems, And within a few months you would be dooing everything WFP and would have to change it anyway.

Thanks for your replies. I was thinking it would cost me more, maybe I have been looking at the wrong systems for what I need.
With the set up windiewasher has suggested, can this be simply mounted into my van, run a hose into the tank, purify the water and away I go as easy as that? As you can tell, a complete novice!
If I filled a 400l tank at start of week, would it last for upto 10 hours and would the water stay pure?

The water stays pure but 400 litres probably won't last you ten hours on the glass.

you ll get 6 or 7 hours on the glass out of 400L on regular domestics that have been previously cleaned with wfp.

please mate dont bother with backpacks,trolleys and barrels.they are a ballache and makes your work harder than it needs to be.been there and done that.

Cheers. I was thinking I would have to spend more than 1k to get a decent set up sorted. With a cheaper set up is it still easy enough to purify the water? What are the drawbacks?

I bought the wcw starter pack it's pretty straight forward to do the water,
