Just purchased some Ashbys Stain Guard it says you can use it on Aniline Leather is this correct.

Is this solvent based or water based?  I am surprised that solvent protectors are still being used.
You can test the product to make sure it works but generally speaking protectors that protect fabrics and carpets do not work on leather.
We have an Aniline LeatherGuard protector which carries a 3 year guarantee on Aniline Leather - the only guaranteed protector on the market.
