Hi I have a cscs card for confined space rescue operative,
I've been asked to do a few builders cleans but they want to know if I have a cscs card, the one I have is white, do I need a different one for builders cleans and what trade is it under

May be best of asking them ?.
CSCS is pretty basic. I would think you would be ok. Mine i have is white and blue for the construction skills scheme, but i think as long as it says cscs it will be fine. When i worked on site no one even asked for it.

Just tell them that you have one, it will be fine. :)

It might be to do with you being classed as a sub contractor and before the company pays you, they deduct 20% or 30% tax which you then enter on your tax return as pre paid tax.

Thats a cis card not a cscs card .

Rosskesava you are getting confused, what you are referring too is CIS which is HMRC . CSCS is part of the CITB

In my defense, they both begin with a C and have letters after them. I failed my 11+ as well. ;D
