Hi Lozsing

Could you also test the exact flow rate with the pumps set to full flow and drop me an email with the results and your name and order number - alex@agardiner.co.uk

What I did as I agree it is too fast for me too is fix a small tap on the rubber hose and lock it into a position that restricts the flow slightly. This way you will always have the flow you like rather than the minimum.

Would that not put an enormous strain on the pump though?

I just tend to open my tap half way or whatever to adjust the flow rate. Works ok.

dont restrict the flow it will restrict life ofpump
better to make a bypass so not all the flow goes to the brush

Just tried mine flow rates fine. the pump sounds like a motor bike when you turn the dail right up very loud. Also when you turn pole tap off the pump keeps cycling. should it not stop right away.? Cant believe how loud it is compared to my other pump. Is this normal.?

must be, mine sounds loud, and still cycles for a while when stopped, plus when i turn flow down

i get a high pitch noise, but i like the drain away plug at the bottom to rid of the grit accumulation... :)

Tried restricting the flow  on my bp by not fully opening the tap,it makes the pump pull a load of amps and flattens the battery really quick. I just work with a faster flow now.
