any advise on how to vac walls and ceilings and with what ? ohhh! and there 7.1 meters off the floor...... its just cob webs and general dirt
-
This is the carpet cleaning section mate.
You might want to try a gutter vac type of machine and attachment.
-
i know " i am a carpet cleaner !
-
ive seen the gutter type machines bit expensive for a one off job, was thinking more on the lines of a numatic machine
-
a numatic should do. You wont need that much suction to remove cob webs. You'll need something with a bit of reach for the ceiling. Or a long hose and a ladder lol
Maybe someone in the general cleaning section might know.

Ladder an a back vac

Barry,
I use the one in the link below for vacuuming high curtains and fabric walling. It is basically a numatic machine with an added vacuum power control. If you want cheaper just buy the numatic version without the vacuum control.

This is the same vac excluding the vacuum control as supplied by the owners of this forum.

A brush on an extending pole !
-
Take a 3 x 2mtr extension pole remove the end cap and squeeze a 12" flat aluminium mop frame with Velcro strips onto the end, stick a dry waffle microfiber cloth onto the Velcro strips and proceed to wipe the cloth against the surface you want to dedust, for removing light soils and sticky cobwebs just use a lightly damp waffle microfiber cloth, if you have large areas to clean and dust just have enough cloths with you to carry out the work.
