Why sill brushes why are they better?

Why sill brushes why are they better?
They clean Sills ;D
For my use I would not use a Sill brush for all work as I prefer an Xtreme brush. However the question in the title was 'ref your Sill brushes' so I gave my opinion from the Sill brushes.
For most clients if they were asking which brush I would simply say the Super-Lite DT Medium-Mixed as this is a great starting point for everyday work.

oh i didn't see the title saying sill brushes ;D

Hi sorry for cutting in on your post W.C. .Alex tried to order stiff full radius sill brush you don't seem to do them anymore, were they not so popular ??? I personally liked the fact that you could rinse on the glass with them. so will give the dual trim a try, any chance of doing the red stiff one again with the bristles coming out the ends like a tank / kettle brush this would protect ends and get to all these hard to reach parts.

Hi Goldie
I think that you will find the new DT white & red Stiff Sill brush even better than the full red one you have used previously. The outer white bristles are even harder wearing than the previous red ones. The quality of the bristles is even better and should fit what you need well - http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/The-Super-Lite--Radius-Sill-Brush-Flat-Trim-Stiff-Bristles--Red--BRUSH_SLSILL_DTSTIFF.html
What we have done is tried to narrow down the Radius Sill range into the most popular types. First of all we had found that the Dual-Trim version were more popular and just seemed to do everything that the full-trim version did but worked better in some areas as well. Hence ditching the full-trim. Then we are always looking to get the best quality bristles possible and these stiff white bristles are now being used on the outer bristles on the Stiff version as they are slightly harder wearing than the red ones whilst feeling almost the same on the glass. We have kept the red bristles in the centre as they work well at this length and they help with identification.

Hi Alex thanks for the info and the promt reply.
Have a good one ;)

Alex, i've used your medium radius sill brush for a while and love it. The curve of the brush not only allows easier cleaning of the sill but it's also good on frames, cleaning multiple edges at the same time. Also the curve allows you to clean at different angles on the glass and still be effective.
Then I purchased your superlite medium dual trim and love that too but for different reasons. It's longer bristles and wider stock are quicker over the glass and good for getting into corners and dealing with those nasty spiders. Also good for getting under the fascias when doing gutter cleans.
So how about a combination of the two?
A radius sill brush about two inches wider (stock width) with longer dual trim outer bristles? And naturally as light as a feather!

Does anyone use a cill brush all day on maintenance cleans . Need a new brush and brushing the top cills can be a pain sometimes .

I do but I am thinking of getting one of the stiffer ones to try will post on here when I've given it a go!
They are great for the upper cills with virtually no risk of scratching wish they were just a bit wider though they are rather small compared with the other brushes.

barry i use an extreme medium mixed on a 45 degree carbon gooseneck.you can reach and clean sills well with it on most windows.its very very light as well.
i use my sill brushes for conny roof cleans not maintenance cleans but lots of guys do.

Alex,
What extreme brush would be best for real leaded windows? looking for a soft brush that will glide over but clean well.. there a little delicate too.
thanks

I would go for either the Medium-Mixed or the Flocked-Hybrid.
If I had to choose I would go for the Medium-Mixed.
