I will try to go on a flat tariff when my free banking is up,I don't want the hassle of  notifying customers.

I've just switched from natwest to Santander for similar reasons, I pay £7.50 a month flat rate to Santander, didn't fancy paying £25 when I can be paying £7.50, I'm keeping both accounts on until I'm satisfied all of the customers are paying into the new account .

Cliff Perkins,

£1400.00  :o

You must have some serious money going in and out of your account, or be doing something wrong to have fees like that

I am with natwest and its half of that

Pay £100 a year for unlimited banking. Get £25 back and also free membership of the FSB. May not mean much, but it would if you ever get a tax investigation.

My account asked me why i had a business account cause of ridiculous charges and i didnt have an answer really bar it looked good on cheques lol...told me to go back to personal account so i did.

Dont see why everyone else should be able to pay their normal wages into their account and just cause we have a business we have to pay for it.

nationwide  dont ask questions if you pay in a few cheques daily into a personal account

halifax start getting funny if you pay in 8 cheques a day into a personal, accused me of money laundering (i was actually flattered i was accused of being a Mr.Big !)
