Title: Big house Window problem
Post by: Avo on August 18, 2013, 10:23:04 am
Got a new house to clean but have a problem cleaning a big window..

I picked up a new house on my round and there's a grand hall entrance massive open space with a 10ft long window in it, what's the best effective way of cleaning this glass inside?? It's about 20ft high from ground level and I don't wanna get runs on the wall below.

I clean a very big house with similar style, very big grand entrance glass.

There is a huge chandelier hanging down and we ladder it and have ladder mitts on, and even something covering them to keep surfaces clean, always with the ladder footed.

Only have your pad slightly wet and catch it when your blading off to reduce possible risk of marking any walls.

Use a 3 x 2mtr Ext pole, take the end cap off and stick on an aluminum flat mop frame (12 inch with velcro strips) then use a damp little waffle glass cloth and stick it on to the velcro strips and proceed to wash the glass surface, then just take off the damp cloth and stick on a dry little waffle glass cloth to polish off for a perfect streak free finish. This method is excellent for cleaning interior windows when you dont want to have any drips or splashes.
