Title: Terracota

Hi Guys

Im going to view and test a terracotta floor next week.  First one for me.

Which Aquamix products should I be aiming to use.

Customer states she has dropped washing up liguid on it and it has left a mark.

So Im assuming its not sealed or the seal is worn off.

She says is very dirty.

Pre wet floor and apply Aqua Mix Heavy Duty Tile & Grout cleaner then allow to dwell, scrub with Mono Rotary fitted with soft to medium brush and agitate. Vac up, rinse thoroughly and vac again. Then seal with appropriate sealer. My choice is always Aqua Mix Enrich N Seal in the case of Terracotta gives brilliant protection and a deep wet look finish with easy maintenance.

Ive one coming up also, there is years of polish being added to it so a very thick film has built up. What would be the best for this?

As above or perhaps upgrade the stripper to Sealer and Coating Remover

I find on terracotta that if the seal is breaking down already then a high alkaline cleaner will probably remove the remaining seal, but if i have a floor with a build up of old sealer then it has to be sealer and coating remover..... Remember masking up is doubly important when using this take extra care on the skirting boards  ;)

I would also try Honing Powder with the Aqua Mix Heavy Duty Tile & Grout Cleaner first before moving on to Aqua Mix Sealing & Coating Remover because it helps tremendously and keeps the cost down!
