Anyone see which poles Gardiners sell in the Extreme range with the new clamps?

25' seems to come with them but the 35' seems to be in a sale so I imagine it has the old clamps?

I'm trying to price up a 25' + extension which I think gives a HM pole but with a lower quality extension section?

A 35' pole would give a pure HM pole with the base section removed I think.

Basically I want a 30' pole either by adding an extension or buying 35' and taking one off.

The Xtreme25 has the new clamps. The Xtreme35 has the old clamps. The Xtreme Extension35 (sections #6 & 7 to add to a 25) can be bought in either old clamps or new clamps for different prices as seen on this page - http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/Super-Lite-XTREME_EXTENSIONS.html

If you just want a 30ft pole you have two options:

1. Xtreme25 with Extension35 and remove a section. You will still have the isolating/insulating section #5 in place for safety. This gives you a full HM Xtreme pole. If you buy the older style clamp extension35 then it also is a good bit cheaper.

2. Xtreme25 with a SLX Extension #6 and a #6 end cap. This will have the handle section in non HM-Xtreme material, but being the handle section should not notice too much in use.

That's more or less how I see it. So when the 35' sale poles go will you replace that size with the new Extreme pole or a different range of sizes?

Also, did the free carbon goosenecks all finish or was that another sale offer?

So, extension 35 for the 25 extreme - there is £90 difference on two sections between old style clamps and new style clamps?

The free carbon gooseneck offer is now no more - given away 3500+ of them during this offer!

When the Xtreme35 pole sale has finished we will then be switching to the Xtreme35 with new clamps. No change in the range size at the moment.

Yes you can  :)

It is a cheap way of having the Xtreme for everyday use and then being able to use it for higher work occasionally without the cost of the full Xtreme extensions (also without the lightness and rigidity though!)

I think I was the last person to get free carbon goosenecks.
I was out of the sale period but had a written quote while the sale was still on.
Alex was very gracious and honoured his quote.
Top bloke.

What do you reckon a part worn 25' plus extension (30') might be worth?

All of our poles (CLX18 and above) come with a free Quick-LoQ Resi-Neck and a free brush. The Xtreme is no exception.

And a cap - even a pen sometimes! (although most of mine shoot apart and go down the windscreen air vent  ;D)

If you can give away a resi-neck and brush with a £100 pole surely you can give away a gooseneck with a £1000 pole. IMO

We could do many things - We have found no matter what you give away someone will think that it is not enough  :)

Interestingly the margins on the Xtreme range are a smaller percentage than on the CLX range so the Xtremes are already technically better value than the CLX poles, hence we should actually give away less on them.

y give away more than 3500 goosenecks then

Why give away more than 3500 goosenecks then

Because it was good business  :)

We were planning on changing our carbon fibre gooseneck range to the new QuicK-LoQ design and had a stock of about 4000 of the old style units in hand. Obviously we wanted to work our way through these as quickly as possible and by adding them to our carbon poles it achieved this and also increased the value of the pole range which they were attached to.
