Post by: Sean Dyer on August 12, 2013, 12:42:43 pm
As above
Need a 2nd system
do i buy another small 85ah battery or get one big one to run 2 pumps off if that is possible?

I'd rather have one battery as i take battery in to charge so wuold rather charge one than 2

Yes if the battery is large and the amps drawn by the two pump does not exceed the amp hours of the battery.e g my pump draws 11 amps per hour and my battery is 110 amps  so I can run my pump for 11 hours none stop in theory. IT would to be small pumps.

No probs, we run x2 shurflows off 1 battery. Never charge battery as its wired to van battery so it charges as we drive.

Yeah no probs. You need to make sure you've got a large enough tank though or you're defeating the object.
