hey guys im in the carwash valeting business and was just wondering how everyone is doing in this cold weather. last month was my busiest and i'm hoping it willl be a good year what about you lot.  also any of you suggest a fair discount for regular trade valets

We don't do a single dealer! Everytime (bar one) that we have done work for a dealer they have pulled our pants down and not been very gentle.
So now when they call up for quotes we tell them it's 0% off our normal rates unless they sign a contract guaranteeing minimum numbers of vehicles each week.
Leave them to the people who want to earn £50 per day.

My dealer discount is based on weekly spend.

Under £100: no discount

Over £100: 20%

Over £200: 30%

Late payment cancels any discount: harsh but fair, I think.

Not at all harsh in my book, late payments strangle small businesses.

Firm but fair.
