Title: Cement scratches on glass
Post by: barry mallett on August 06, 2013, 08:37:00 pm: Ay up I did regular house today . But they have had a lot of building work done this summer .swimming pool massive outdoor patio n landscape . So I have missed the lat 2 cleans ,but I spent a full morning cleaning her windows up today . They all came up fine except 3 panels covered in cement .cleaned em trad no scraper , came up ok but some of the cement has left marks ground into the glass . It's like dirty scratches.does anyone know if there's owt i can get to shift em . I would normally tell the custy there's nowt I can do . But they've been with me 15 years , nice family and great payers . I'm off back Friday afternoon to do the pool house so it would be nice if I could sort that out at the same time . Cheers barry

As you are traditional not a lot you can do, but I have 2 options.

1. Ram your ladder through effected windows and tell them to claim off your insurance ;D

2. Get a few of those black stick on birds, that are supposed to stop birds flying through the windows. And stick these over the marks. ;D

Sorry, no suggestions; I'd just blame the builders.
