Title: My Wonder Wand is strill dribbling!
Post by: heritagecleaning on August 06, 2013, 01:09:24 pm
A slow trickle of water out of all the jets. I have put in a valve repair kit but to no avail.

Anthing else worth trying before I buy a new valve?

 :( :( :(

I told you in the last post you made about this.

Repair kits are good 2 or 3 times in the casings life,  but the casing of the valve assembly gets worn/knackered.

I don't mean to be the barrier of bad news but you need the whole valve assembly.

and you'll have the pleasure in paying Amtechs kind p&p price twice  :'(

Before buying one though!! Clean out all your filters! steep them in white vinegar over night. This might be the answer.

I have actually managed to 'contain' the problem - I put a washer under the spring, compressing it a bit and thus holding the plunger up with a bit more force.

It'll do short term until I get the new valve  :(

Owen, the spring has just contracted a bit. Take the washer out and the stretch the spring a bit. You wont need a valve kit.
