If you don't fancy going down the 4040 route, then Purefreedom do an RO system from the 300s to 450gpd. Depends if you have a big round where you're drawing off your water every day of the week then maybe a 450gpd won't keep up.
I've had my Purefreedom Ro setup for a few years now and its been very reliable.

As a single operator a 4021 will produce more than enough water for your daily requirements, especially if you process water into an ibc tank.

Merlins are renowned for a high water waste and poor membrane efficiency. My mate down the road has had 2 Merlins. They produce water fast but his has a waste to pure of about 5 to 1 and both of his Merlins have never achieved more than a 90% rejection rate which equals higher resin costs.

We have a 4040 now which keeps up with the 3 of us drawing from it.
