OK, it might sound silly but I have been thinking about this for a bit, i.e. how it would be nice if the Sebo Duo had a bit more 'down force'.
So anyway I was at a car boot sale this morning and there was this bloke selling weights from an old fashioned scales. I bought 2 four-ounce ones which I intend to try sticking on top of the machine. So is this:
a) Worth a try
b) Won't make any difference
c) Some kind of cry for help because I turned 40 yesterday.

you will make a damage to the sebo parts, belts etc.

It would look like the head of a Dalek.
I have also thought the same though :)

Its definitely c ;)

I used to put a bit of extra weight either by pushing down, or by putting my foot on it, but the answer was just to get the rotary in and use that, but then I turned 46 and bought a red, racy, floormac ;D

I thought I was a sad but this takes the hobnob. ;D

Definitely C, think you need to get some therapy Owen ;)
Belated Happy Birthday for last Saturday.

Use more dwell time, remember your sinner circle when one part gets smaller you increase one of the other parts to make up for it.

Having recently got a big CRB, I realised how crap (because so light) our old Duo is. I think it's worth doing, though more than 8oz - if you f**k it up, throw it away & get a proper CRB.
