when I had a berlingo I had a 250 litre tank, handled it fine, it was a straight 1.9 diesel dare say 300 would be fine to as mine was piled with ladders and trad stuff at the time

I know a fella who has an old 1.9 Berlingo with a 500 litre tank. Brimmed every day. A little over the payload I think!!!! :)

My Doblo 1.3 diesel. 56 plate 730kg payload. 400L tank, ran perfectly well for 6 years and for the last six months I even had two up and a trailer with another 200L before getting the Hyundai.

Still got the Doblo as a second van. Got a 200L in it and room for the guttervac stuff.

Also low road tax of £130 if it's registered pre 07 plate Euro 4.

Also as it's a car derived van and the GVW is bang on 2000kg you can run it at car speeds on dual carriageways and single carriageways.

I've got an old mk1 berlingo with a 400L tank in it.
It's slow whether it's full or not but still ok.
Although I don't fill it to the top as I've never needed the full 400L.

We run connect t220 with 650 tanks, you'd never know it was there and no it's not over the payload it's been on the weigh bridge

Hi Franky,

We're similar to Gold's original set up.

2 x Fiat Doblo's, both running with 400ltrs and dual operating set up.  We only have one man per vehicle though, the extra pump and outlet is purely for backup.

1.3 multijet engines, only issue I've had is one of the clutch arms snapped on me.

Regards,
Lance
