Title: Powerburst + Trafficlean?
Post by: heritagecleaning on August 02, 2013, 04:20:42 pm
Could you 'boost' power burst with a shot of Trafficlean? I have 5 litres of the stuff hanging around and it says that it can be used as a booster, but the combination sounds pretty damn evil!

It's something I was just considering for minging carpet tiles in a Heavy Metal recording studio  :)

I would do it the other way around. I would boost the trafficlean with powerburst. I have tried it once on the worst minging cream carpet i have ever seen and i have seen some real mingers as i do the odd extreme clean. The combination was amazing i have to say.

So how much PB powder would you put in a litre of Trafficlean prespray?

I would be more inclined to boost PB with Oxibrite and or Citra Boost.

Trafficlean could be used to boost your rinse if required.

I can't remember what the ratio was, it was a good 4 years ago, but like I said, the job was a real minger, the worst I have ever seen. I would turn it down these days, unless they were willing to pay. The house was empty and I tried pb with citra boost upstairs to good affect, but I ran out of citra boost for downstairs so tried a mix of pb with Trafficlean as it was a last resort clean anyway. Trafficlean is a decent prespray on it's own anyway, I used to use it before I discovered pb and it always did a great job.
