Hi,
I'm looking to see if there is any carpet cleaners software for tablets.
Would be ideal as tablets are a lot easy to carry about and could then fill in info throughout the day.
If not could be a new angle for someone to develop I am sure many people would snap it up.
Do any of you use your tablets for client database?
Rob.

No...
Unless you use desktop emulation software (i.e. 'hook-up' to your PC (running CM) in the office). But, you'll really need to wait until 4G is widely available, and even then you'll still have to be in a 4G coverage area for it to work.
A laptop is the way to go, at this time.

If you do a search you will find lots of threads on this subject.
You can use cleanersmate on android and ipads but you need to understand its running remotely from your PC using an app.
Another option is a Windows 8 based tablet. Not sure if cleanersmate runs on 8 but to be honest if it didn't I would just get a chromebook. Too many people get wrapped up in sexy gear rather than focusing on what's best for business and that's cleanersmate by a mile.

Ive used cleanersmate through pocket cloud on my tablet and it does the job, but you need lots of patience as its quite slow.
Some days I feel like smashing the thing up :o but its better than nothing !
Probaby will invest in a new laptop unless kev makes it available for tablets ?
Problem being I think the license only lets you run the software on one pc at a time !

It doesn't run Windows 8.
I've tried trials of other s/w, some cloud based so you can run on a ipad, but I still prefer CM. Ask on here, most use it, that says something.
Here's some FAQs on CM
