Has anybody used Envirodri products (micro sponges)? Or similar products. If so do you rate them, can they clean any carpet to a good standard or are they more for maintenance cleans?

Maintenance cleans. However you can use a little added moisture to boost things along. Historicall we would use bonnet cleaners as pre-sprays and more recently microsplitters and now encap products with great results.

They do have their uses on certain carpet types such as sisal and velvet pile viscose.
