Welcome back to 1950 !

I use 10-40 in the engine and comp gear or light gear in the pump and gearbox. Any non foaming light gearbox oil will do or a 40 weight hydraulic oil. The engine oil can be a modern detergent type but if you prefer the dark ages then go for the "classic". Well thats my ipinion anyway

No just in the pump...you don,t have a gearbox.
As Carl says  10/40 oil in the engine. A non detergent "straight 30" (classic car oil...Halfords)  for the pump to prevent "foaming".
