Help needed ..
A customer asked me to look at a wool mix white/ cream carpet.
It was foot marks from her dog !
She applies salt & bi-carb, then rubbed it with a yellow cloth ( she is a woman)
Tried all the usual, & stain did appear to go. Just rang her & it's come back & only a bit better.... Any ideas.
Thanks

If it appeared to go sounds like wick back. Fine mist microsplitter over it and wipe with a towel. hairdryer it
to finish.

Thanks for that. Will give it a try..
Any info is helpful..

More likely it is something to do with the way she first treated it and the yellow cloth and if not and she soaked the salt and bi-carb may have caused jute browning.
I'd be mighty careful of tampering too much with this kind of thing simply because in your repeated efforts to get it out you could make it worse because you are dealing with an unknown quantity, what was on the dogs feet - plus salt and bi-carb, making what?
You could do as Paul has suggested but then leave it at that.

Thanks for all your help.
You would dilute the micosplitter down ? . What dilution % ?
Thanks again.
