Title: Skylight cleaning
Post by: GB Window Cleaning on July 24, 2013, 09:41:51 pm: So i decided long ago to ditch doing skylights as i can barley reach them (on 2 storey houses) on a small stepladder without the sagging pole catching the roof! So it occurred to me... Do i need a gooseneck so the sagging pole will not catch the roof?

the normal 45 or 55 degree gooseneck will do.keep it on your pole at all times instead of putting it on just for skylights so your not wasting time when you could be cleaning.

the 90 degree gooseneck is good for solar panel cleaning though on longer poles.

i find the Xtreme poles with carbon goosenecks fantastic for both skylights and solar panels.

I also have the slx30 so i think if i intend to do anymore skylight or especially if i start getting solar panel cleans i'll invest in a gooseneck.

Yeah ive found this out the hard way daz ;D...Trying to do sklights on a step ladder on my tip toes while stretching my arms. I'm not even joking either ::)roll
