Title: Flow meter query
Post by: Jacqueline Kerr on July 24, 2013, 06:12:02 pm
Hey Guys, I seem to have a problem with my pump or flow meter when I use my Supermax 47 at around 25 feet and above. The pump shops up DE and stops and starts the water flow. Is it about time I changed my pump????? I have used it for over one year now.  :)

Recalibrate the controller.

Recalibrate the controller.

As Traps has said, you will need to raise the calibration setting of the shut off sensitivity on the controller.

As both Alex and Traps point out the calibration setting may be wrong. As the pole goes higher greater pressure is required to push the water, If calibration is to low (sensitive) the control will see this as water flow stopped and dead end the pump.
