Extensions are £168 -vat so could cost a lot of money, how many will I need.

Got a super max 40 but won't take any extensions.

According to my calculations, allowing for your height and the fact that you would need to stand about 33ft from the building, you would need a 60ft pole.

Rob.

If you are prepared to have a good bit of flex in the mid range it is technically possible to add 20ft of extensions to your Super-Max40 (SMAX EXT#9 and 3x EXT#10 - http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/The-New-SLX---Extension-Sections-SMAX_EXT.html) but it is really not recommended due to the effect of the flex at these heights with a standard SMAX40 as the starting point.

The cheapest way of reaching this with a better suited new pole is the SMAX50 and 2x EXT#10.  The best way of doing this though is with an Xtreme47 and 2 or 3 Xtreme Extensions or a Super-Lite Modular 57.

Thanks for the replies, first clean in September.
I do Carpet and Upholstery cleaning myself and both my son's do the window cleaning.
They each use SLX-22's and share the Super Max40.
I was thinking of getting a Super Max47 in the sale so they both  have high reach poles without sharing and with a few extensions could do the job in question without as much flex, what do you think?

30ft?!

Alex said Super max 40 with 20ft of extensions has too much flex.
Alex said super max 50 with extensions is a cheap alternative and slightly better and we do need a 2nd pole.

The super max 47is in the sale then with extensions is in between the 40 and 50 so might be a good option.

We no longer have any Sale SMAX47 poles in stock.

They would have been no more rigid used with extensions than the SMAX40 used with extensions.

The new SMAX45 and 50 are more rigid as they are made with higher modulus carbon material (same carbon cloth as in the new Ferrari La Ferrari!)

The Super-Lite Modular and Xtreme are more rigid again as they are made of a much higher grade again than the 45 & 50.

The Ferrari grade carbon is not good enough for the Xtreme  ;D

The Xtreme poles use carbon cloth that is several grades up from this and is usually reserved for aerospace technology - hence the extra cost.

No this is the older non-HM Super-Max. The newer Super-Max45 & 50 are made with this improved cloth.
