Title: Chemspec Products
Post by: Steven Butler on July 23, 2013, 05:13:23 pm
I use solutions products, have read up on Prochem, even tried PB but know nothing about Chemspec products.  Out of interest whats their main/best products....how do they compare to prochem and solutions??

Chemspec in my opinion are the best of the lot, i've tried solutions, prochem and others, but the majority i use are from chemspec, their DFC range are brilliant

Everyone to there own though, i'm sure others swear buy solutions and prochem etc, but i would highly recommend talking to John Kelly from Restormate about the Chemspec DFC range

I always return to chemspec as myself I find them superior to others but cannot get away with the DFC range but everyone finds what works for them doesn't work for others

Like m power for example?

M Power and DFC are different M Power is a colloidal so works in a different way chemically but is applied and used in the same way you can't re invent the wheel.

If you was new to carpet cleaning (like me), which Chemspec product would you recommend trying that is pretty much safe on most carpet types?

I now use...

Liquid high heat... excellent acidic rinse which also gives you an extra kick... especially on white wool / mix carpets... would never be without this product.

DFC 210... Reminds me of Solutions SPM use this on upholstery
DFC 105... Wool safe version of 210 i think
Enz-All... use this bad boy on restaurants and filthy mingers
HD Soil lifter... Great additive for your pre sprays, use it on upholstery to remove hair and body oils

Still use Prochem and Solutions products too... Nicks HD microsplitter is great

What every I happen to have, at the mo it's powder formula 90 as a prespray or power bust, alltecs citrus prespray,or ultrapac or the same company's traffic lane cleaner, the rinse is liquid high heat or ultimate master liquid, not bought any prespray for a good while as I'm still trying to turn what I have into profit.

Power burst and neutrosoft from prochem for us on domestics and power burst with a couple of scoops of double clean plus premium clean as a rinse of restaurant carpets gets a great result.

Sometimes use one clean as a rinse and chemspecs odour kill plus is very good.

Richard St chemspecs gives great advice and is always willing to help, Ashbys should take note.

Neutrosoft ph5 a bit stronger than acid rinse also smells nice, do a lot of end of tenancy where pets have been and this stuff works well, also wool safe approved and slightly cheaper than acid rinse.
You work it out.

Isn't it simple:  Chemspec is a huge American company (I think) with a huge R&D budget - no wonder their products are excellent:

I use: DFC 105 / 210 , Enz-all, Many Spotters + other Chemspec products.
Tho there is always a few other manufacturers offerings on my van to 'test out'...
So don't get complacent Chemspec!
