I need to sort out some software for accounts, wages & customer scheduling ect.
What software do you multivan operators use ?
Thanks Paul

Accounts and wages, Sage.
For rounds I have custom software, expensive but very useful.

hi soapy,
where did you get your software made and how much did it cost you?
i am continually frustrated with WCPros short failings, and limited way of working.
i will eventually have my own software developed...

I would love to go custom but i don't have up to 5k to spend on software development
I will take a look at sage
Thanks Paul

Initial cost was £1500 I have had developments on it since. Including the initial price, it has cost £3500 - £4000 over 6 years.
I got a local software designer to do it. I have asked him in the past if he is interested in selling it on to other windies, he isn't.
When I asked him to do it there was very little choice of software out there, George or nothing. Its a different story now but my software is very useful and I will probably develop it further.

Sage instant payroll if you have less than 10 employees. And I think its sage instant accounts I use. I'm not at work just now I'll check later...

I thought you were going to say 4-5k
like most things custom made always fit better than off the shelf items ;)

Have you looked at our software, The Scheduling Manager? We have many cleaning companies of various types using it in the U.K., and other countries.
In a lot of ways, it's better than custom software, because it's been very thoroughly tested over 25 years. Others have put in their suggestions, so you get the benefit of their wisdom, too. Plus, if you need a little piece customized here and there, we can do that for you.
Take a look, and give me a shout if you have further questions. I'd be glad to help.

Do you have a trial of the software as to try it out first?
-
no they don't
It is expensive too if you cant get on with it
-
why do you need a more comprehensive scheduling system for more than one van?
the accounts side i understand but not for rounds
surely you just put more work into george or window cleaner pro etc and print off 10 worksheets instead of one?
-
Aworka
The operative updates it for you
Seemples - tjk tjk ;)

Although you are a little slow at responding to forum posts ;D

I use bright pay for wages. It's great and it's free for upto 3 employees. Then aWorka for scheduling. All very easy
-
Aworka for everything other than salaries, if I employed I'd subcontract the wages or use Sage
-
Sorry about that, Steve123. I guess I should find a way for this forum to alert me when there are replies to my post/s.
Thanks :)
