very useful for bungalows, no need to use the main pole ;)
-
4 as in its 4 foot long?
If so, waste of money at any price IMO

I find it easier doing bungalows trad 8)

Assuming its 4 foot my everyday pole is only 5 foot.
Can't see the benefit.
Yeah, I do clean bungalows.
-
why do you use a 25ft pole if only need 4ft?
I have about half day a week where i do bungalows, so very light, very easy, very quick, no prob with close gate. It is perfect for me!

???
9ft working reach for a clx4
-
So extend my everyday pole by 1 section...
-
Why buy a CLX-4? If you've a long run of low level wfp work then use a bit of aluminium tube; or a broomstick.
Better still use an old worn out pole section and cut it to 4ft long.

because i like to have a proper pole and i am not tight like most of you ;D ;D only £34 mate ;)

It's not the money Ben, I just genuinely don't see the point.
I have 4 poles and they do everything I need.

I have proper poles where I need them - 18ft and higher.
A bit of broom stick you can find for free - why chuck away £34 for nothing?

I use one of those broom/mop sticks with a threaded end available from supermarkets. The standard angle adaptors fit on them perfectly. A few feet of (external) hose. Job done.

i wouldnt personally buy a 4 ft pole but why all the slating because ben decides he wants to buy one? ::)roll
half a day a week is quite a lot of bungalows.
ive only got about 4 bungalows on my round so i just use my main domestic pole.
at £34 its hardly gonna break the bank!itll come in handy for cleaning the van as well.
my short wfp is a converted unger optiloc trad pole with vikan brush.i use it exclusively for cleaning my van and car.
best wishes to you all

Who cares that its back in stock really, your the only one that's being crying about for the last months

Who cares that its back in stock really, your the only one that's being crying about for the last months
did you have a bad day?
-
I intend getting one yes I have plenty of old rubbish poles that could be cut down to length.
But for the price why would I.
Perfect for bungalows + tight spaces and cheap as chips.
Would Alex produce and sell one if there was no demand I think not.
You wont get lighter to clean bungalows.

That bit in red - yes you will get lighter; tho' I don't believe that matters too much at such a short length.

True but will it look as good and be as handy to use.
Your right even a D.I.Y. pole at that length wont be much different in weight but if your using a 22 or 25 slx
there will be.
I don't think rigidity matters at this length so theres no point in a slx4.
If you had to clean a number of bungalows which pole is better a clx4 or slx18.
I have a number of bungalow fascias to clean and this pole is a perfect size for fronts and backs.
Would I pay a £100 or more for it hell no but for £40 why not.
