I came across this tonight.....
http://www.carpetcleaningwarning.co.uk/
Decent cleaners fighting back
-
So what they are saying is ,If you are not a member of the ncca beware, be warned, dont go near them!!
What about a member of the iicrc , should they also be avoided ?
Or better still perhaps i could dig up some pics of work of a so called ncca member , who I was assured by the customer did nothing like is set out as good practise .
Lets be honest here, just because you have passed a simple exam, doesnt stop you cutting corners or having bad work ethics.
As far as I,m concered the web page is simply tarring all non members with the same brush.

He should of placed his backlink in the middle of the paragraph.
So basically of your not NCCA registered your the type of cleaner to drag old grannies to cash machines ;D

It's not a warning it's an advert . Del

They should've used spell check.

I hate any advertising that uses scaremainering tactics, it's lazy & very negative and this sort of thing harms decent carpet cleaners as well !

I dont agree, simple fact is..... fear sells...its all over the place from the government to car companies.
I dont see how it harms good cleaners either surely its the opposite, anything that raises public awareness on the bait & switch merchants can only be a good thing...

Poorly written...poor grammar and spelling.
Having said that it's pretty much on the lines of TACCA as in the "Approved" bit.

Yes, it should have been proof read before uploading, Bournemouth with a small 'b' is just one example however the message is a decent one, just hope they are not part of the same scam...trouble is with all those errors it may not encourage vistors to call but could put them off.
