Title: Shurflo pump to a switch??
Post by: spudd on July 16, 2013, 10:20:34 pm
Hey guys, was a post on here a while ago which I can't find for the life of me..

Basically I want to turn a shuffle 100psi pump on with a switch (not a controller)
Only as a temp this but is there an easy way of explaining how to do this or a diagram would be muchly appreciated 😉

Thanks guys..

Yeah, get an inline switch from wilko's or bb&q etc for about a quid.
Cut the red and black wires and stick them in the switch as per supplied diagram.
Robert is your fathers brother.

Or if you're a bit rough-cut a wire, strip it back and twist them together to turn on-pull apart to turn off

Remember to put a fuse between the battery and switch on the positive (red) cable also check the ampage rating of the switch you do not want anything higher than 18 amps.

There are radio remotes available that will also do the job you are describing this come with connectors and fuses

Out of interest why are you removing the controller?

It's only a temporary thing while current van is in the garage.. So not controller removed..

Thanks for advice on fuse though Ian 👍
