I think the 10 is more useful you can reach some low first floor and high ground floor, with the 4 I would think you need it extended for quiet a few jobs the 10 will do a lot whilst collapsed? Just a thought :)

Wilkos £1.67  ;D
A broom.
Angle adaptor fits perfect on it.
Gardiners brush on it and you have a very very light bungalow pole.
I had one it was great.
I have since upgraded to clx4

Ben i think those small poles are a waste of money. I use my slx 25 for everything. If your a reasonably fit person why the need for a small pole unless its due to awkward access issues next to tight gates etc??.

Mike, why waste of money? why do you use your slx25 if you only need a clx4 or 10? it is easier sometimes with a small pole and quicker too so not a waste of money at all!  ;)

Got to agree - why does it matter what you use for a short pole? I love all things Gardiner but I don't see the point of buying a CLX4 - a curtain rod or a bit of ally tube or a broom are fine.

I still think it is.. I leave everything connected in van ready for next job, a bungalow would take me £5 mins.i cant see how switching to a smaller pole would save me that much time when an slx is the right lengh and weight for me.
However never say never if im proven wrong id take a change lol. Anything to earn that extra pound note at the end of the day...money talks.

It's when you want to reduce wear and tear on a big job a short pole is useful.

E.g. block of 3 storey flats 20 windows per floor. I use my extreme for the top floor (it is made up as a 35).

2nd floor and ground floor I use my SLX22 or "SLX20". But I have occasionally used an ally pole about 2ft long to whip round the ground floor.

Method. (If I want to avoid dripping)

Out and back with the 35; out and back with the 20/22, out and back with the 2ft thingy.

With them being so light and short you can fly around.
Brilliant using a short pole on commercials.
